I've always loved essential oils but when I became certified in aromatherapy, I became passionate about finding the right ones to help those around me. I had questions. Are all essential oils made equal? No. Do they have more value than just a lovely scent? Absolutely. Can they bring healing to the body, spirit, and mind? You bet your life they can. One major benefit is in the area of mental health.


In our fast-paced world, finding emotional balance is key to maintaining overall wellness.  Essential oils for relaxation offer a natural, effective way to support your mood, reduce stress, and bring a sense of calm.  Using these calming essential oils, like lavender, frankincense, and chamomile, can help your mind and body achieve balance and peace. However, make sure you're purchasing quality essential oil. You don't want to use an essential oil that is diffusing chemicals into the air or seeping them into your skin.


·       Lavender Essential Oil: Known for its calming, floral aroma, lavender oil is a go-to for stress relief and improved sleep quality. Diffuse lavender at bedtime or add it to your pillow for a soothing nighttime ritual

·       Frankincense Essential Oil: This warm, resinous oil promotes deep breathing, helping reduce feelings of anxiety.  Use frankincense oil in meditation or apply (diluted) to pulse points for a grounding effect.
